Default What do you think of this deal?

Been looking for White/Parchment combination and found this one in NY. $35,500 would be the lowest the dealership would sell the vehicle for. Vehicle has comfort package, no ML. What do you think of this deal?

I think it's $3k too high. BUT, considering that CPO in 2010 are very hard to find, it's a nice find. Have you looked at Lexus CPO search website? I looked and found two 2011 LS 460 in Allentown, PA and Watertown, MA for $34,500 asking price.

I figure i'm paying the extra $2-3k for CPO warranty. I looked on Lexus CPO search site, but not seeing the color choices that we want.

Personally I wouldn't buy one without ML, and adaptive cruise. But thats just me. I also love the reclining rear seats (comfort plus package?)

I bought a 2010 CPO w/70 miles for under $30k two months ago in FL. That's why I think it's still $3k too high.

Good deal but the ML would be better.

The price may be a little high, BUT if it is the perfect color combination you want, and if you plan to keep it for the long term, in the scheme of things paying a little more doesn't mean squat.

Offer them $2K less, they'll either counter or say "no". So then buy it any way!

As far as the ML, that is a really nice option. Whether you can live without it is up to you.

I agree. If it's what you want, go for it.

I hear you OP. I was in the same boat almost a year back looking for light colored interior with dark exterior and with certain options. Found one in one of the Lexus dealership in bay area. They wouldn't even engage in discussion when I told them I am from NJ. Later found another one in FL and purchased it - couldn't bargain much from the asking price due to limited availability of light colored interior with certain options.

If I were you, I would look for ML with adaptive cruise control. If you like the car, you should go for it. Otherwise wait for the right one.

Am I the only one here who thinks those add on door guards/molds on the side just ruins the look? Really looses that clean smooth design IMO. As far as price, I would say it's fair, but nothing special. I came across one a 2011 with 60k mi CPO for mid 30s, they wouldve gone down to 34-35 and that was several months ago. If service history is excellent and you really like the car (even with those goofy door moldings), then by all means go for it if the deal feels right. Otherwise, wait until your perfect dream car shows up - it's much much better that way IMO!

The one at Lexus of Orlando had an accident in 2010. Not sure why vehicle could still be certified. Without accident, that is a nice vehicle.

I wouldn't bother with the one in NY for that price. It is missing a lot of options and isn't a very good deal.

I had 2007 RWD with ML & Comfort Plus package, sold 2 weeks ago at 167k miles. This time around, I am looking for an AWD LS460 so I'm sure there's a premium for AWD and Certification as well.

Yours is AWD or RWD?
