Why pay a shop when you can do it yourself.

Absolutely stunning! I have the L in starfire peal too! Can you share your secret on the beautiful shine. What exterior care do you use? Looks really glossy.

It took me a whole weekend only because I had to figure out what suspension parts to take off to get the struts out. Then I rented spring compressors for Auto Zone that took a long time to use. I ended up taking the struts to a shop to have them compress the springs and put the Tanabes on, It would've been faster if i would've just taken them to the shop in the first place.

I've been thinking about that, maybe the Vortex kit.

I like them Too, These are Lexani wheels 22x9 and 22x10 which fit better than my Savini Wheels that were 22x9 and 22x10.5 with a 25 offset in the rear which rubbed at stock height with people in the car before I shaved the rear fenders. I had cracks in the rear Savini wheels because I had tires on them that didn't support the weight of the car.

Well guys it was fun while it lasted but I had to put it back to stock height again. The Lexani wheels worked fine ( the back wheel ) which had the correct offset. I found a place that had my discountinued Savini wheel in stock for the rear which is a 22x10.5 but a 25 offset they don't make them in a 22x10 and I put them back on the car because I liked them better but they rubbed badly with riders in the back and the wife did not like that sound. So $200 bucks later it went back to stock.

For those who want to know how the ride was on the Tanabe Springs, The ride was pretty good for a lowered car of this size and weight. There was a little bounce to the ride but nothing like a lowered Honda would feel like. The car felt more sporty and I did'nt get anymore looks then if I had it at stock height, but I think more young guys liked it more. As far as long drives go I will admit that it was getting tiring feeling the road more and the ride felt fatiguing after a while. At 48 years old and having many lowered cars, I will have to say that I miss the look but I can do without the road feel. Don't get me wrong I can't get it out of my system that easy and after experiencing the car at that height it was fun but if it was not my daily driver it would be low right now. Springs for sale in Eastvale,Ca. 1 1/2 months used $180.00

Thats too bad. Have you thought about keeping the springs and going with a set of 20's? Other members say that is the best of both worlds, style and comfort. As for the rear, I take it you didn't have the rear rolled or shaved?

They are shaved but not rolled, I should've tried to roll them before i removed the lowering springs with the 10.5 on the rear. The 10's had no problem with rubbing with passengers and the ride was good and I could've left it like that but I started to get tired of worrying about the roads and potholes, it's already bad enough riding on 22's.

what kind of Tanabe spring did you have? I notice Tanabe only make springs for 2007-2008. I have a 2010 wondering will that fit mines.

I really like the look of your wheel choice. I wouldn't have a problem with them being back to stock height. They look great on your car. Nice work as well.
