I would like to know how often you wax your LS?

Sealant vs Carnauba Wax?

What brand of Sealant and wax for your light paint color?

I clay bar and polish the car twice a year, spring and fall (although I've fallen behind this year, I have to get to it).

I use Zaino Z2 Show Car Polish and then seal it with their clear sealer. I also use their detailer spray after car washes.

If I'm using carnauba wax, I do it every other month. If I use a sealant I may go three months and then throw a coat of carnauba on top of it. I use either Mothers or McGuires. For the inside I use McGuires interior detailer - it doesn't streak, or leave any oily residue - and I do that every other week.

To me, it has a lot to do with how the car is stored when not in use. Mine is garaged most of the time and a once a year waxing works fine. I use Meguiar's clean and wax.

I also wax my cars twice a year (fall and spring). As mentioned, I garage my cars, so they don't see much daylight since I work from home.

I just went through an 8 hours long process with the Chemical Guys products. Started with wash, clay bar, V36 then V38 then glaze then Jetseal and finally 50/50 wax. Used the griot DA and results are quite remarkable. No swirls anywhere anymore and paint is glossy and shining. Really pleased with the results but the work was quite demanding. I also used 3 steps process on the leather and 303 protectant on vinyl. Will now do this whole process once or twice a year depending on usage and wax/seal again every 3 month.

I have my car waxed every couple of years. I'm happy.

I do this twice a year:

Clay bar
Swirl remover ( I use Meguiars or Mothers)
Klasse All in ONE
Klasse Sealant Glaze

All done with a Porter Cable 7424 random orbital buffer and various colored pads from Lake Country.

For those that haven't tried the Klasse system, you should. Amazing shine and depth, especially on my Obsidian paint.
