Intro and photos of my '08 LS460
I've been lurking the forums for a few months here since I picked up the LS, and figured it to be about the right time to post some photos!
I picked her up in March from our local Porsche dealership in Edmonton for what I feel is a steal, though do let me know your thoughts.
2008 LS460 SWB
Nav/heated and cooled rear seats/rear reclining seats/self parking/ML
19,000 miles
$26,000 CAD plus taxes ($27,300)
$20,580 USD plus taxes ($21,567 USD)
She was mint, mint, mint when I picked her up and I intend to keep her that way! I've put about 10,000 miles on the car and have loved every last one. My last trip was to Invermere, BC and I had the opportunity to take some photos, as shown below.
Happy to be part of the Club Lexus LS club!

A 2008 LS460 w/19K miles, Comfort Plus package, ML, Advanced Parking Guidance, from a Porsche dealer for $21,580 USD? Something doesn't add up.
Are you sure you didn't mean 91K miles? Don't cars in Canada use kilometers instead of miles?
Unless the car had been in a major accident, had a salvage title, bought at an auction or from a private owner desperate to unload the car,, had the odometer rolled back, etc, I don't see it selling at a such a low price.
If your story is correct, I definitely want to know the name of that Porsche dealer!

Pretty car. Quite a killer deal for such a low mileage car. Pretty much unheard of. You are the 1st person I know of with a fully loaded 19k ls460 for 20 grand.

From OP's prior posts, he says it was a US car (hence the mileage in miles rather than km's) and implies the ML system might have needed replacing (if true, the mint, mint, mint description is inaccurate).

Thanks for the words, though I wouldn't have expected the scepticism!
To clarify:
-100% clean title
-19,000 miles (not km)
-US car
-ML amp blew two weeks or so after I purchased the car, but was flawless upon purchasing
-The car still had all four of the original plastic "office floor mat material" mats when I picked it up, and the trunk piece too
-Every single book/user manual was included in perfect shape
I'm well aware of the deal I negotiated, as it would be listed for between $33k and $35k (CAD) per others for sale in the province. Even the Lexus dealership across the street couldn't believe the price I got and called the dealership up to confirm.

Looks like the original asking price was $29,995 (CAD?) and that the car had been in the lot for a while:

Quite a deal!
To be clear, I'm more skeptical about the dealer than the OP. A dealer wouldn't take a huge discount like that out of altruism. If OP hasn't already done so, I urge OP to get the car inspected ASAP and also to register at secure.drivers.lexus.com to see the online Lexus service history of the vehicle. It's possible there are open recalls on the car.

There's your issue, it has an odometer rollback and God knows how many miles are actually on it. Explains why it sat for so long and why it was so cheap. I wonder if someone swapped the cluster to keep the recorded miles low or something.

To be fair, that could be an error. Its showing as a possible rollback because its saying that on 3/30/2010 it was showing 15,680 MILES, and on 5/19/2010 it was showing 17,733 KILOMETERS. Well...its a US car...what likely happened there was whoever checked it in Canada wrote the MILES down as KILOMETERS. Why otherwise would they have rolled back an odometer showing an already low 15,680 miles with one showing 11,018 miles? Doesn't make sense.
Question for the OP, is your cluster MPH dominant or KPH dominant? Meaning are the big numbers MPH or KPH? If they did swap the cluster maybe it was with a Canadian cluster.
That error could be the reason for the great deal. Stuff like that is VERY hard to get reversed. My cousin had an odo discrepancy on his Carfax and to this day has never been able to get it removed, he's looked at trading the car and they take a huge amount off the value. He's had it since new, the cluster has never been swapped out...somebody at some point just screwed it up when a registration was entered, etc.
