I asked Safro Lexus if they would put different ones on when I purchased the car about a month ago- they said these were some of the best tires available for the car. I tend to agree, but I am a fairly conservative driver and have zero use for this performance tire. I'm probably just too picky though! Thanks for all of your feedback
I wish you the best of luck with new rotors and pads.

Has anyone come up with a good recommendation for replacement rotors on a 2010 LS 460L? The best place to buy would be helpful.

Thanks

Dennis

I haven't bought rotors from them, but I have bought ceramic brake pads for my LS and my wife's Jag. I found the quality of the pads to be very good, and their price and service is excellent -

Go with Centric premium rotors. Can be purchased on Amazon for about $80-$90 each for front and $50 each for the rear. Make sure to get the premium with the painted rotor hats, otherwise you'll get a lot of rusting on your rotor hat and it will look like hell.

I purchased Centric Stop Tech Cryo Drilled and Akebono Ceramic pads. They stop 4,ooo lbs fabulously. Heat & glazing (warp) is no longer the issue.

Default Partsgeek.com and tirerack.com

I ordered the front rotors from tirerack & the rear from partsgeek. The front were in stock and the rears were drop shipped from centric. I went with drilled cryo due to weight and I didn't want to revisit the issue again anytime soon. Further, centric premium disks should be sufficient. Although all my vehicles have cryo drilled disks

Dennis,

I have the Centric 120.44148 Front Brake Rotors on the front with the Akebono (ACT1282) Pro-ACT Disc Brake Pads. The rear stills has the stock rotors and pads. I am very happy with this combination of front rotors and pads. Amazon has them for $66.88. The car stops very linear and smooth!

Superdenso

Do you have the part numbers for those drilled cryo rotors from tire rack partsgeek?

Thanks

I'm not sold on the idea of drilled or slotted rotors for this car.

I pulled the trigger this morning. I went with the following combo.

Front: Centric Premium Plain Surface E-Coated CE 120.44148 rotors from Amazon $66.88 each with free shipping

Rear: Centric Premium Plain Surface E-Coated CE 120.44149 rotors from Amazon $39.78 each with free shipping
$213.32 delivered

I already had the Akebono ACT-1282 ceramic pads and the Centric Hardware Kit 117.44085 for the front.

Akebono ACT-1283 ceramic pads and Centric Hardware Kit 117.44086 for the rear.
I had the pads on hand waiting on the rotor decision.

Thanks for all the help.

Dennis

If your current setup is good, I wouldn't change it. I have 20x10's in the rear and any additional stopping power is appreciated. The drilled rotors have a different feel. Brake fade plagues hot rotors and it doesn't happen with the drilled disks. You get what you pay for; cheap drilled rotors will have a feel and longevity to match their cost . Also, the TireRack markets $4,400 Brembo brakes in two flavors drilled or slotted, but no solid disks.

What I have is warped at 19k miles so it's not that I'm happy with that lol

When you say it has a different feel, can you describe that?
