Default spark plug change now VCS/PCS warnings

I tried to change my spark plugs, which was a disaster since apparently the equivalents aren't equivalent. However, I put the stock ones back in, and I unhooked the battery for about 10 minutes, then the car started, sounded all right but idled low then started throwing warnings of PCS and VCS systems need checked.

I saw the thread about resetting this with the reset button, and that seemed to work for about 30 seconds before it came back.

During the spark plug changing, I noticed my battery was leaking, so I replaced it with the best one they had at Fred Meyer. I also used MAF cleaner to clean the MAFs, then let it dry apart overnight before putting them back in.

Any ideas?

Seriously Dude, you have the WORST luck of anyone I've ever encountered here on CL. LOL.

When you say, "...I replaced it with the best one they had at Fred Meyer", did you use the correct group size? CCA are adequate? I assume you also plugged the MAF sensors in properly? Normally, the VCS & PCS warnings are due to battery, so I would start there, especially since you had a battery replaced and had a leak in the other.
