Finally upgraded!
Hey Everyone,
Long time lurker, I first want to say thanks for all the awesome info that's on this site!! After searching for a year or so and saving up my pennies I finally upgraded from my 1992 Cavalier VL to a 2008 LS460L (skipping all steps in between lol) has low mileage at 44k km (27k for those that use miles) and hopefully going to enjoy it for a while to come.
Unfortunately my drive with the LS was brief as soon as I got it home it got shoved in the garage until spring time. Been playing with some the features yesterday and surprised to find all the old owners stuff still on there (nobody deletes all thier personal data before selling a car?) I deleted everything and started fresh. Looking forward to doing some road trips this summer, should be a better drive than my friends '12 civic that we usually take

Congrats fellow Canuck. That's quite the upgrade!! LOL
Now you just need to move to Southwest BC and you'll be driving that LS everyday. :-) A;though I did have to scrape my windshield yesterday for the first time this Winter. LOL

Congrats! A BIG upgrade to a beautiful black LS 460 L that you will be proud to drive and own. Your road trips will be smooth, quiet, roomy and comfortable. The ML sound system is awesome and plenty of other features to play with. Enjoy your LS and welcome to the club.

You went from a 92 Cavalier to a LS460L?? Holy crap!
The first thing you'll need to adjust to - and I went through this too - is the ride comfort and isolation. That takes some getting used to when you switch into a car like this. I found myself almost falling asleep because of the quiet and comfort. Also you'll need to get used to the smoothness of the ride....I often found myself going 70mph, when I thought I was going 40mph. I'm dead serious. Even my passengers were fooled. I'd ask the person sitting next to me, how fast do you think I'm going? And they'd say, I don't know, 35? And we'd be doing 70,
Congrats! The car looks beautiful and the miles are so low! It's like a brand new car.

Congrats. Nice upgrade. You will enjoy the LS especially on long trips. Good MPG for a big car.
Same thing here when I played with the phone book and gps.

Nice ride, looks like you scored big. Make sure you focus a little more attention on those back molars as the great big smile you will have on your face will draw a little more attention.

Wow! From the looks of the package, you scored a phenomenal vehicle! That elusive executive package is beautiful, and as Tee and CJITTY states it: you have "all the buttons"!
Beautiful car! Congrats and enjoy!

Congrats on a huge upgrade like CRowe14 did this week as well! Have fun exploring your new ride with "all the buttons" and hopefully the weather will clear up before spring so you can take her out and don't fo to try the radar cruise.

Fabulous car and upgrade! One "feature" I notice (beyond what others have mentioned) is the winter floor mats. You have the "good" ones, i.e., the ones from before the "sudden acceleration" craze! They are better looking, and actually work, relative to the garbage Lexus replaced them with.
Congratulations, and many kilometers of happy driving!

Congrats man! From a caller to Ls. That was similar to when I went from Mustang GT to S500 Mercedes .
And an executive package???
The only problem you have now is deciding where to sit. In the front or back.
I'd hire a driver to drive me around for a weekend, while I wine and dine.

Lovely car and congratulations. Double check if your car has the valve train recall and if not get the work done while it's still covered.
