It appears not many 2008 2009 early models were ordered in colors. I am interested in finding one of these great cars in a color like Vertigris or the much remarked upon Ruby Spinel Metallic or even Golden Almond or one of the blues or cashmere in the later models might work if in higher mileage (for affordability.) Not into black, white, silver, grey or Truff;e Mica

Any input out there. Anyone have one to sell? I can ship it from anywhere and I'm a very reliable buyer.

Have you searched one of the many online websites like Carmax, Autotrader, Lexus.com Preowned etc? I see 600s on there all day long. You can filter by color, mileage and even keywords. Club Lexus also has a vehicle classifieds section. Sent from my iPhone using IB AutoGroup

You might also find someone who can look on the Manheim site and possibly go to the auctions too. Cars.com is also a good site with a good sized selection. Heck, even look on Ebay or DuPont Registry.

There are companies out there that do this. You pay them a set fee and they find and buy you a car.

Thanks, but as i say in my post, I'm looking for one that's in a color other than black white, grey or silver. There are some great buys on the sites but it's a needle in a haystack to find one of the other colors.

I have a broker looking; a preowned manager at my local Lexus, I'm set up on Cars. come, carsdirects, and the others, Can't post a WTB yet on here cause I don't have enough posts. there is a Truffle Nico coming up on auction on Ebay. Not into brown either unfortunately. If I can't find one of the colors I like I'll get one on the sites, but meanwhile looking under every stone.

Make that Truffle Mica. Anyone intereested, it sounds incredible. One of the 100 Launch cars.

Love Ruby Spinel (maroon), Vertigris in older models, Cashmere, Deep sea Mica, in newer. And would do Almond Gold.

I REALLY want to see a 600HL in Blue Harbor Metallic which was added in 2010. I've never seen one and think it would be beautiful.

There was one last summer (while I was shopping) at a dealership in the Midwest, if I remember correctly, with Executive Pkg. The price kept dropping, rather quickly, presumably because of the color. Not sure how you would react if you saw the real thing, but it certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea, as it is not your typical shade of blue.

I want to say the price dropped to somewhere between $53 and $56k, if memory serves me right, this coming from well into the $60s, and it happened fairly swiftly.

The car was in Iowa; here's a link I was able to dig up. No pictures, unfortunately, but perhaps some additional searching will pull them if they are cached somewhere in cyberspace.

I definitely remember that one, since I was in the market for a 600hL at the time. I think it ended up selling for around $51K. At the time, lots of people commented on how much they DIDN'T like the blue color, but I thought it looked pretty unique. Some on the forum even were convinced it had to have been repainted to that blue color, but as you noted, it was available in that color in 2010. I haven't seen any in that color pop up on AutoTrader ever since, though, so they must be pretty rare.

The other super rare option for 2010 on 600HLs was the Active Power Stabilizer Suspension System. It was discontinued for 2011. I had it on my 2007 GS450h and it was incredible.

Interesting; I remember reading great things about this option on the GSh. Curious, where did you see that it was offered on the 600? The product info PDF doesn't list it, and I am now intrigued!
