Just had my oil changed at the dealership yesterday. Today I smelled a faint oil smell. I opened hood and u can't smell it much there but if u smell around the openings next to the fog lights I can faintly smell it. I'm thinking the dealer spilled some oil or dripped some. This ever happen to you guys? No oil on the floor of my garage at all.

Agree, they likely spilled some oil. I worked in the auto service business until retiring 2 years ago. Never spilled oil on my car but over the years I spilled sometimes on customers cars. As long as I avoided the fan belts or the exhaust parts it was usually an easy clean up.

How long until you think it will burn off. I've driven about 130 miles and it still has a faint smell. Going to take it to car wash tomorrow and see if the under carriage spray will help.

If they got it on the exhaust, the faint smell you are describing will usually go away in a few hundred miles.
