Default Next Friday

Dropping the car off next Friday afternoon when we get to Omaha for the recall. Also getting the 40,000 mile service done. I never did get a letter from Lexus. My friend took her 2010 Lexus LS 460 AWD over to Lexus of Tulsa and spent the night and came back yesterday Friday the 13th. All went well.

I had my 90k service done this weekend so they knocked out the recall at the same time. No letter received yet; the dealer said they'd only been doing them for about two weeks.

My car also came back with the XM presets stored with different stations. Not a SAT1/SAT2/SAT3 issue. Weird.

Yeah, I had nothing change after my recall. How odd.

Had mine completed on Saturday, today is Tuesday. This morning highway traffic is much busier so I had to get on the carpool lane at a much slower speed. After I got in the carpool lane, there was no power to increase speed for more than 6 seconds. I end up blocking the lane. My last oil change by the dealer was maybe a month ago.
Any connection with this fuel lines recall?

no vacuum, no wash per my request, lots of dead bugs on my car which was not there when I bring the car in. and of course no gas filled. Did get a newer IS250 to play with.

Had mine completed today. No changes, no gas.

And I also got an IS250 to use. Wow. I couldn't get my car back fast enough.

I just had this service done and I got a free tank of gas - dropped off the car with little to no gas!

Most likely the instructions to the techs were to disconnect the battery before performing the work. Some probably did this and others didn't bother.

Had mine done yesterday, no free gas (probable because it was near full when I dropped it off). Did not notice anything "different" about the car.

If you take a look at page 3 of this particular thread, you will see a post by jmcraney where he inserted a link which specifically outlines the produre of the recall work performed and displays the location of the sensor.

Anyone know if they touch the coolant during this procedure? While parked today I had no heat until I started driving despite the car being warmed up. I have read it is a sign of low coolant. Wondering if they touched something as I've never had issues before today.
