Default 14/15 lease rates and deals

Hey all-

I got a December to Remember email from my dealer with an interesting lease deal. $699 for 27 months on a $79k model with like $5,400 down. Now, obviously I wouldn't put $5,400 down but it got me thinking that with some negotiating I might be able to get into an LS for not much more than I'm paying for the GS.

Anybody willing to share some recent lease info? Money factors and residuals?

Thanks in advance.

holy crap, thats much better than the advertised special here in cali. its like 6k down, and 899/month.

in my other thread i said i was shopping for a used 2013, but at this price, it would make sense to lease it first and buy it after the lease is done.

Using those figures adjusted for 15k (2% off the residual typically), with acquisition and tags down and taxes out of pocket on an MSRP $78,680, $7k off sticker cap cost of $71,680...payment comes out to $1,008.64 which ain't great.

Does anybody know values on these 27 month leases?

I'd consider it around $850 a month, but I'm not going to pay $400 more than a lease for a new GS would be...

The difference must be 27 vs 36 months in the SoCal offer.

I will copy paste this one this afternoon.

Thanks Tags! Makes sense.

Well, dealers have to discount the car to achieve advertised payments

Thanks! That's about my calculations too. Big discounts should be doable on this car, I wonder if the residuals are better on a 2015 enough to make up for the difference in SP

Oh yeah I hear stories of deals like that all the time. Issue with leases is the residuals are low.
