I hope you don't get frustrated with me - it's sort of hard for me to understand as there are some subtle operating differences depending on models. The HomeLink Support staff have been very helpful anytime I have contacted them. You night try enlisting their help.

If you are still have problems with the HomeLink setup I suspect that is related to Post #27 above.

Another thing to try is to move the remote around, increasing the distance and changing the position, while programming the car. That part is very sensitive to signal strength, a sort of anti cloning feature, and some remotes are too powerful to be held closely coupled during programming.

Seems like the HomeLink turns solid red when it has "timed out" without learning the frequency/format from the remote. The car never "synchronizes" with the pseudorandom rolling code of the remote in the manner that the opener synchronizes to remote in the opener learning mode or the opener synchronizes to the HomeLInk in the opener learning mode.

Clear all the codes by holding the two outer buttons for few seconds and start over

Default ES 330 & 350 Homelink - No fast flash... Solved

One simple alteration to the owner's manual instructions solved it for me... Instead of pressing both buttons at the same time (desired Homelink button and the handheld remote button) and then continuing to hold while waiting for the fast flash which never comes ... Try pressing and holding ONLY the Homelink button until it begins to flash slowly (be patient) and THEN while continuing to hold the Homelink button, press and hold the handheld button until the slow flash becomes a fast flash and then release both. This worked for me.
