What, Black Sapphire Pearl wasn't good enough for you?

After further investigation it turns out that this car was not sold by the Lexus dealer in Eugene, Oregon but by the Sewell Lexus Dealership out of Dallas, TX on 12/27/2013 after it came off lease from Lexus of N Miami on 10/31/13. It was then driven by the new owner to Oregon where it was titled and registered in Oregon. It had it's 20,000 mile service done by the Lexus Dealership in Eugene. I was able to run down every remaining service date and repair/work order number that I was missing off of the service history from Lexus Drivers. The service history tool in Lexus Driver provides a ton of information if you are trying to pull the history of your used Lexus together.

You know I seriously considered it, but I was on the fence about it because depending on the light it was more black than blue. There was one on the lot where I bought my car. Sometimes I regret not getting that color, but then I do get a lot of compliments on the noble spinel mica.

It was my wife who pushed me off the fence, "I don't like black"!

I must admit that while I am not a real big fan of dark colored cars this Deep Sea Mica is kinda growing on me. This car has a very classic look to it when you walk up to it in a parking lot. That being said I did tell my 83 year old friend who has the Starfire Pearl White 2010 LS460 SWB with 25,xxx miles on it that if she does decide to trade it in on a 2015 that I still wanted first crack at it for what they offer her for trade in on it. I am really a white car guy at heart.

This, definitely.

Went to a Lexus dealership today to have my friends 2010 LS460 with 26,150 miles on it serviced for it's 30,000 mile check. While there I was able to get a copy of the window sticker for our 2010 LS 460 L. It has everything I listed except the cold weather package. The sales folks thought I did well.

As a side note the wife thinks our 2010 LS 460L rides better than the friends 2010 LS 460. She is very happy.
