As you have publicly eschewed long-term ownership of ANY Lexus model on a going-forward basis and have amply demonstrated your decision to pursue short-term possession of the same over the last 5 years, your propositions concerning long-term LS460 ownership are THEORETICAL and have NO value in the real world. Please elucidate us on the costs and benefits of ACTUAL 2013 GS350 leasing and leave prospective LS460 ownership issues to those who have real skin in the game. Of course, should you have any questions regarding current or future LS460 ownership, I'm sure many of us here would be only too willing to assist you...

Seeing that I've been a Lexus owner for the past 16 years, and have owned two LS models as well as 3 other Lexus vehicles, whether they are LS460s or not, and I've spent the past 11-12 years posting on and administering Lexus forums...thus I have been involved in hundreds if not thousands of LS460 discussions in the 8 years its been out...I would disagree about the value of my inputs.

Lets do this. Why don't you post your viewpoints, and I'll post my viewpoints and the rest of the members on the forum can decide who's viewpoints are of value to them? Everybody has a right to post their viewpoints, its not up to you to decide who can post and who can't.

Agree that everybody has one; well-known fact.

Didn't and won't ever say you can't post. Not my purview. But, I am most certainly able and allowed to point out to others the context in which you make your posts on the LS460 forum and the value they should attach to such. Go forth and sin no more...

Everybody can see what cars I own and have owned. And in fact I said as a disclaimer before I posted that I have not owned an LS460. Read the forum rules about keeping posts about the topic and not making personal comments about the posters, and then you go forth and sin no more.

That's what I would do. It's a great and compelling car. I'd just lease one and get the experience before I thought about out of warranty ownership, etc.

After my experiences with BMW reliability and horrendous costs associated with the engineering decisions they made, I will never go back to BMW. Visit Bimmerfest forums and do your research. A co=worker of mine is getting out of his Bimmer and into a Lexus ES for the same reason.
