Default Bumping window down

Hey guys. I have found that with front windows slightly bumped down a bit it eliminates wind noise I notice other members have done this as well. Has anyone had issues with water entering?

I've noticed bumping the window down a bit does eliminate the wind noise but I haven't had any water issues.

That's good to hear. It hasn't rained yet and I haven't washed my car. Just was curious if it was an issue

No problem here either but I bump it down just a fraction.

I do that too and it helps a lot. However, sometime on rougher roads I hear squeaks like the window has not made a good seal. Mine came with the single glass, that I switched out to laminated on the front, but I did not have the seals and weatherstripping replaced. I may need to do that too, even though my Vin fell within the TSB recommended range of not to replace.

Yes, I give the credit to my findings of this to the threads. I searched but no one addressed if doing this would cause water to intrude

On my car, bumping the window down reduces wind noise but does not eliminate it.

Still very annoying, even after implementing The Fix.

I've tried many many times but there's no difference in the wind sound. Even after the "Fix" and the new aerodynamic fins. Oh well, I've got the one car that nothing helps.

Actually I stand corrected. After further review, and just barely flicking the window down, I notice about half of the wind noise being reduced.
