Default Sulfur smell

The sulfur smell is due to poor exuast design. The muffler outlets are not extended far enough out to dispense exuast from under the vehicle. I will be trying pipe extensions .2008 LS460 38,000 Mi.

Huh? I have no sulfur smell from my vehicle. Maybe you have an issue with a cat

That would be putting a bandaid on the problem. The exhaust design is not the is not the cause of the issue you are having.

By the way….thanks for the posts everyone. The dealer told me it was the type of fuel i was using which was creating the odor.

I have had the same issue . Its just the gas you are using. It will be gone after you fill up. I have had this issue with my GS350 and LS460. Its nothing.

That begs a couple of questions. What type of fuel were you using and did switching to another brand solve the problem?

A couple questions -

Did the dealer hook up the car to read the ECU to see if there were any codes?

What kind of gas mileage are you getting?

Have you been filling it with premium gas from brand name stations?

Is the smell in the cabin present when you are driving or only when parked/stopped with the engine running?
