I've been riding motorcycles for over 50 years (NOT Gnarleys) and have found the earliest, surest, indications of other driver's intent (particularly oncoming traffic) is to watch their hands on the steering wheel.

Does anyone on here have first-hand experience with a semi-stealth, looping dash cam?

I've been riding almost as long, and eye contact too me is more "telling" than hands on a steering wheel, especially since driver's ed now teaches to drive with your hands at 4 and 8 o'clock on the wheel so the airbag is not blocked. Makes it hard to see hands on a steering wheel. Smart riders check all of the above.
