I went the same route, a GS430 to an LS460...not the "L"
The only disappointment I had was that the GS had the ability to remember two sets of TPMS codes, like for mounted winter and summer tires. The switch was up above the passenger foot well. When changing the mounted wheels, you could do it yourself and just flip a switch to recognize the different TPMS codes. Now you have to take it to the dealer to change the codes, or get the aftermarket software/hardware. I don't think the Carista system has this feature...too bad.
The LS doesn't have this feature...imagine that...their "flagship" model doesn't have this upgrade.

I too love the GS as well. The GS is more agile and fun to drive, can turn tight corner without a lot of leaning like the big brother LS. I love the LS for the comfort, luxury and bigger interior space.
