I also have an 08 SWB with 48k and haven't experienced any of those problems... Could it be that it's just the 07's that have them? I'm guessing there were a few changes made to the 08's ( one of the reasons I bought an 08.

But yeah, I love the power and the HWY fuel MPG's this car is one of the most perfect cars all around IMHO....

I have an 07, 75,000 miles and 2nd owner, I took care of the VSR, but it was not a big deal, I had a Lexus loaner and its been even better since then.

I like the ride, the quiet interior, the comfort for long trips, the power and the mileage, I cant think of any I dont like. The lighting in this car is very good also, the HID, with the Fogs and the tracking beams is great in the rain on twisty roads.

Nothing major but annoyances to me:

1. lack of ease to replace some bulbs (reverse lights, parking light, headlights)

2. AUTO Headlights attempt turn on lights while car is starting and not come on AFTER starting. (possible premature ballast/bulb failure with engine start surges)

3. No front passenger memory..all the other three seats have them???!?!

4. Cannot self update navigation system using a dvd rom like most cars with factory navi

5. Inability to add a 2nd set of TPMS for winter or custom wheels without having to reprogram them each time.

6. Wind noise issues on many early 2007 and 08 models, thank God for wind noise fix DIY though!

7. (Bonus) Be nice to have rear fog lights similar to European cars for bad weather climates

I know, relatively minor issues..but the car is still great and best I have ever owned!!

I absolutely love the good looks of this car, the power, the great fuel economy for a nearly 400hp vehicle, the advanced technology it offers and absolute great comfort. I feel the ML stereo is excellent, even with XM radio compression. I also like the feeling I get driving it and pulling up to a place and getting compliments on how beautiful the car is.

Love my LS!

If you're in a state with America's or Discount Tire Co. . . They reset tpms light for free

Agree! Also, if Lexus really wanted to score some points in my opinion, they could issue a TSB to resolve all of the issues everyone is having with a sub-par Nav system including it being active while the vehicle is in motion.

Yup, been using discount for years. I was just trying to say other lexus vehicles can store 10 sensors at a time instead of 5 like the LS. that way i can just swap myself without a trip to discount

I totally agree with you on this one. I was driving my friends IS350 and IS-F around. their little seats are much more comfortable for some reason and they have front passenger seat memory!

My 2009 has front passenger seat memory. I think after 2008 it was added.

As for the front seats, I think it is very comfortable. However, I have moved the lower seat portion all the way forward and if I was taller and had to use it that way I noticed there wasn't enough padding so I would think it would then be uncomfortable.

Not wanting to start a new thread, I found a perfectly suitable one.

I dislike when I turn on the Cruise Control system, and I can no longer display the tire pressure screen. I'm a nerd, I like to watch the pressures increase as I drive. Especially on hot summer days.

I agree. I think the '06 drivers seat is more comfortable.
