Yeah the 22's make a world of difference, you pretty much have to hand out neck braces as you pass by,LMAO!!!!!!, i wouldn't go with anything less or greater

Having just put on a set of 20's I can say that the ride is not as comfortable as stock, which in my case is 18". You do feel more of the road so if you live in an area with poorly maintained roads you should give consideration.

Don't get me wrong I am fine with the 20's and can live with the little bit of ride comfort trade off. I can only suspect that with less side wall on the 22's the road feel will be more pronounced.

For every inch diameter you go up, you lose roughly a 1/2 inch of sidewall. Www.WillTheyFit.com is an excellent website to give you a graphical explanation of your tire/wheel changes. Pretty accurate too. I use to determine my fitments.

As far as me going from 19 to 22 inch, I lost nearly 1.3" of sidewall! That is pretty significant. Less sidewall means less give and flexing. If you are worried about ride quality, upgrade to the 19x8 OEM wheels, there are several styles now with the 2013 changes that will work. You would have a 245/45/19 tire for those to match up.

22's look great, but not much tire height with a 30 or 25 series tire, that's pretty thin. Watch the potholes, lol

I'm gonna ride on the stock 19's for a while and do the spacers like CJITTY suggested. When the stock tires wear down, I'll take a closer look at changing.

I think a good compromise would be 20's with a Data Systems level controller.

Thinking:

20 x 9 inch wheels with 245/40R20 tires for front
20 x 10 1/2 with 275/35R20 for rears

A 20" wheel with spokes that go to the edge of the wheel (no lip) and a data systems controller drop on level 4 front, 3 rear will still ride very nice and look great on that gorgeous white F Sport man!! I would also shoot for a machined finish because that finish always seems to make the wheel appear bigger but not in your face flashy like chrome. I know they make a harness for that 13 because Vossen wheels installed a controller on that red f sport they show in their CV4 wheel video. And 15mm spacer front, 20mm rear will look like night and day on your F sport 19" wheels! Just make sure you get the 60.1mm 5x120 hubcentric bolt on spacers that have the hub lip to mimic the hub lip on our oem hubs. This is the exact spacer I have are

15mm

CJITTY you have been more than helpful. thanks, I gotta make time soon to put my spacers on, they were very nicely made by Motorsports Tech and way more expensive than Akata.

Oh, so you are good to go..I'm late to the party lol.... I will recommend, HIGHLY recommend that when you install these, torque the spacers to the hub with 103 ft lbs. Then, torque wheels to spacers with 103 ft lbs also. Then, every 25 miles or so, re torque wheels because that new metal will expand. I would do that for the first 100 miles or so to ensure everything is good to go. It doesn't hurt to check anyway and any time you add something like this, you are introducing some risk. But with oversight and knowing your car, you will be able to ward off any issues within your control.

Also, those open ended spacer nuts have a conical seat, so make sure the rounded (tapered) side of the nut goes into the spacer so it can seat up properly. In other words, the flat side needs to face out toward you.

I'm going to follow your advice to the tee. Thanks man, I got a good torque wrench that I use for drag racing on my Lightning. Plus, I was partners in a custom wheel shop in Augusta GA for about 3 years then got out of it when the partner started not treating people right. I know a little more about wheels then I'm letting on, not saying in a smart *** way. CJITTY, I really appreciate all your help on these boards. Every vehicle I own has custom wheels, I own 4 trucks total and the Lexus.

Not to mention thinner sidewall = prone to wheel bending over potholes. I bent my vossen 22" after like 4 weeks of having them, ran over a pothole on the highway (i got it repaired for $150)... and the car is also my daily.... I want to put the stock wheels back on, but i can't sacrifice the look. Dilemma.

I know..the struggle. I wish they made the oem touring 5 stars in a 20x9 " with offsets around 20mm..I would get 4 of those and call it a day!!

I hear what everyone is saying about the loss of "A comfortable Ride" when going to the 22's but it is so small I barely noticed it at all.

Just my opinion but the ride is still very nice and comfortable at any speed. Keep the tire pressure up on the 22's and you won't be bending wheels.
The wife and I drove to Yosemite last weekend putting on a little over 400 miles and never really noticed it.

21's are the perfect size for the large LS platform. Unfortunately, wheel selection and proper tire sizing limits your choices.

20's are a good alternative to stock, but still a little small IMO.

At $3 grand for wheels and tires, you'll have to stick with a one piece setup or a set of knock off wheels.
