Default First squeal, now rattle.

I posted a thread before about my brakes squealing. I took it back into the shop and told them about the squeal and rattle. They told me my rotors were glazed so I should replace them. Thought it was fixed, until I got home and still had the squeal and the rattle.

I guess they can't seem to duplicate the problem but this is what my brakes sound like when I brake, or go over bump while braking: http://vocaroo.com/i/s0kXm11pQ5Kc

Anyone know whats making that noise? Getting a little frustrated with this shop I'm going to. Debating if its worth it to just take it to the dealership and having them fix it for me.

I had that sound with my after market pads, after replacing the OEM pads, noise fixed. How fast was the vehicle travel and do you have after pads or OEM?

I was on the highway when it happened. So maybe around 70/75 mph. I noticed it happens more often when I'm going over bumps while braking.

I'm not 100% sure but their website state they only use factory Lexus parts. I've seen the Toyota truck drop off parts when I'm there.

FYI, local toyota dealers doesn't carry our pads and rotors part #. Your best bet is to check your wheel bearing and verify if they install front pads part # 04465-50260 with shim kit # 04945-50080

Thanks for the tip. I'm a bit hesitant to go back to the shop considering they can't fix the problem. But I don't really know jack about taking apart the brakes. =/
