Default Feeling like a special customer, what has your dealer done for you.

So just curious, I know a lot of you CL drivers have had the feeling like your the special one in the dealership. So it only begs to ask, "What has your dealer done to make you feel that way?"
I will start, initially I got the complementary CPO inspection for free when I first purchased the vehicle, I'm assuming that the dealer will do that just to lure additional customers in and point at "what is no up to par" and here is your estimate for the repair. Second I got a complimentary oil change and tire rotation that will be coming up in about a month, due to the dealer diagnosing the suspension faulty, had the selling dealer look into it and they replaced what the Lexus dealer had diagnosed, issue still lurked around. I went in "rant and raved" and they made the appointment and threw in a complimentary oil change and tire rotation, hopefully it's oil that the car calls for not some Johnson & Johnson baby oil. And finally as of today the car went into the dealership to get a small list of things looked at including the creaking in the dash and they will be changing my personalized settings and programming an additional key for me at no charge, well no line written charge im sure it's decimaled in there somewhere (and decimaled is my new created word for the week, feel free to use haha).

I bought a CPO from Lexus of Naperville, and their delivery process it tops and really makes the overall buying experience. On delivery day you spend about an hour with a delivery specialist who goes through a detailed tutorial on the vehicle. The guy knew his stuff and I loved it. How to get to the spare, where the tow hook is stored, and where you put it, you name it we covered it. He even paired my phone to the Bluetooth. Also, the intersection nearest my home was already programmed into my Nav. They were smart enough to not use my exact addy for safety reasons. I'm sure lots of folks don't even know that you can have more than one destination and can even change the order. Needless to say, I was impressed and very appreciative of the experience.

Also, my first schedule maintenance visit is free, free car washes for life, etc. Lastly, the dealership isn't a bad place to hang out...free soda, water, wifi, etc.

Did you buy a CPO vehicle, or a Non-CPO one where they did this inspection but don't fix schtuff?

My CPO needed nothing.

I had purchased it from Carmax and taken it to Motor City Lexus for the CPO inspection.

He didn't over charge me, and gave me lunch while I waited!

I bought my car our of state from the wonderful McGrath Lexus in Chicago, and one can see this amazing dealership with the Google Maps Walk-Around Tour: https://www.google.com/maps/place//@...!3m1!1s0x0:0x0

However, my local dealers haven't been the most accomodating, and I feel it partially because the car wasn't purchased through them, partially because i have a platinum warranty not a CPO, and partially because i'm so young and they don't show me the respect i expected.

That being said, they have been able to get me most of the loaners i have requested.

Finally, i realize there is the liability and expense involved, but can't more of the Lexus dealers have an LS in the loaner fleet? (if i owned a lexus dealer i would have a specific "LS Service Program")

While I was paying them $300 for a nav update, I got a free cup of coffee and a seat in a leather chair in the customer lounge. Does that count?

The dealer I got my car from Lexus of concord has been great with service dropping me off to an extra farther location on the shuttle than allowed, great customer service for the few times I have been there, and the one time they messed up I got my tank topped off to make it up to me.

Also my personal favorite on checking out the LFA in the display room the person who sold me me LS noticed my double styrafoam cup with a ClubLexus sticker on it (real ni**as know wassup lol) so he went to the store and got me a free $15 coffee mug stating "You dont need to be putting stickers on your cups or drink out of something like that so he gave it to me as a compliment. I was very impressed

When I bought my 3rd LS from Pohanka Lexus in VA, a 2013 AWD, I wanted to sell my 2007 LS to my daughter. They arranged a transfer (sale) to my daughter at my price, serviced and CPO'd the vehicle and sold my daughter a 5 year CPO warranty. They made no profit on the sale except whatever markup they made on the warranty.

My dealer fought with the warranty company for 3 weeks to pay for my 5k repair bill and gave me a fully loaded gs350 to abuse within that time period. Now that's customer service in my book.

Every time I go by my dealer I just stop by and get me a banana, a pastry or cookie and a juice in the waiting lounge, just like taking a break.
I know they overcharge everybody... Lol

BTW, @mistermet. Did you have to pay any taxes for selling your car to your daughter?

That is a great idea!
