It's the only way to go.

Shoulda asked us before you bought.
Again I stress that, in Canada, the Lexus Platinum warranty does not cover everything that the Lexus warranty covers in the US (e.g. Nav screen) and that some third party warranties purchased from US agents apparently offer better coverage to a Canadian driver than a Lexus warranty purchased from Lexus Canada.

Default Keep your warranty

I will keep your warranty or get a lexus extended, if you take that 1800 and save it it will not cover squat if your car breaks, you just bought and 70k car all parts are expensive, I just used my warranty to cover minor issues and the repair costs was 15k i got my seat motors replaced and my side mirror will not fold in got that replaced cause it was broken, also my AFS system which they gave me two new headlight and then the famous control arms that go out. trust me in the grand scheme of things you will be so happy that you have a warranty when things go bad. DO NOT OWN THIS CAR WITHOUT A WARRANTY!! Unless your loaded and could come out of pocket, this is my 4th LS and they all have minor issues that cost a lot to repair.

You should buy a warranty. I bought it 2010 LS 460 and in July and the dealer sold me an Allstate extended warranty. I think it cost around $1800 for 5 years but I just had to replace a wireless module for the key remote and the cost would have been $1700 but I only had to pay a $50 deductible. I don't think you want to own any high-end car, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Lexus… Without a good warranty.
