Yellow Fogs
#2
I used PIAA plasma yellow bulbs, they're 2500k or 3000k color I believe. There's a few diff yellow bulbs they have.
Yes, DIY by removing the wheel liner or partially removing/pull back to access the fog light. You can remove the wheel for more room to work with.

My 3000K HID pics are in the FAQ under "Lighting" section https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...d-finally.html
You can also search google for LS460 3000K or yellow fog and it immediately came up with an earlier post of mine here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...-on-ls460.html
Just get a $29 (shipped) HID kit from Ebay. You need 9006 bulb style with 3000K fogs to achieve yellow color. Install is under 30 min and it's 100% plug n play

The only downside to using 3000K is our fog lenses are reflectors and scatter the beam pattern, when it blends in with our 4300K low beams it make them look like halogen bulbs. I found running 5K lows w/ 3K fogs looks fantastic! However HID fogs do put out more light than standard bulbs.

I have not had time to put in my new HID kit but my temporary fogs are yellow bulbs.

Tee - quick question regarding the LS fog lights, since you brought up HID. Sorry to threadjack. I currently have a GS, and had purchased the Morimoto mini h1 retrofit set from TRS for my high beam retrofit. It looks like I will be getting rid of the GS for a LS due to unforeseen issues. Is there room in the LS stock fog housing for a projector setup? The lens size is 2.5", and the projector is not much larger. I am trying not to return this, as there is a 20% restock fee. Thanks for any input.

Got you, thanks for the clarification hid vs. Led.
Would this be the type of plug and play hid kit needed?
