Default Side mirror dillema

So I purchased these mirror covers from ebay that are like the face lift model design with the LED turn signal and chrome. This is now the second time I order some and they are not the same size they are shorter and not as deep, which either leads me to believe

1. These 2 different companies used the same manufacturer to get the mirror coves from and they were both the wrong size.
2. The 2011 side mirrors are a different size completely than in 2007-2009, in which case the cover was falsely advertised as fitting years 07-10 on their website.

Now I can simply return it, but Id like to try something and would like your help/opinions.
Would it be better to just replace the front trim that the back cover attaches to have a complete outer assembly so to speak? Im concerned about the puddle light being a different size(the cover not the bulb) and the base where the assembly attaches to the motor that folds them in and out would not be a direct fit either.

Any ideas? I had no clue the side mirrors changed in dimensions in the face lift. Also if someone could help me find the front trip of the mirror cover on sewell Im having a hard time navigating that site.

I think you need to post more pictures at different angles.

Unfortunately I already put the sidemirror back on and dont want to deal with the hassle of that again. But essentially this mirror cover like the ones advertised before on this forum has the 2011 LED turn signal but will fit the 07-09 models.

Picture 1 shows me holding it from the point of origin(where the side mirror turns in and out) and shows the huge gap in between the 2 where the puddle light would normally go. Also as you can see the far right does not touch since the depth on the pre-face lift covers is larger. so it floats 2 inches back.

Picture 2 shows me holding it from the far right so that they do in fact touch however, now the problem is at the point of origin where it is about 1inch and a half too short and the bottom circle(that I lined up perfectly at the 1st pic) isnt a circle anymore more like half a circle and I cannot connect it to the base of the mirror to turn in and out.

I agree these pictures were horrible and do not help much, I was a bit frustrated when I found out they did not fit and quickly put my side mirror back together since I had to drive. Does anyone know what the part number for the front trim (the black piece in the pictures) so I can look it up on sewell?

My suggestion is to either buy the older version that doesn't look like the 10-12 or just buy the real deal. Sounds like they might be IS versions
