I don't think you'd need AWD. I've seen several comparison videos on the LS w and w/out AWD, most seemed to find the RWD a better driving experience. But like your sig say, Atlanta and NC, I don't think that'd merit the AWD. My stance also is if I live in an area where snow is infrequent, it's just better to not get out among all the other drivers who think they are Andretti behind the wheel yet lack the needed skills. You'll have to post some pics.

Have you also looked at the white, the pearl looks great on that car!

OK, now you got me thinking.

I bought new and owned a 97 ES 300 for about 12 years, Pearl White with Silver at bottom and Sage interior (Gray). It looked pretty good.

Which has higher resale value? White or Black? I like both colors. Hard to choose which one..lol

You can go on Edmunds and see the approximate values for color differential, but frankly it is so nominal ($50-$250) that it is hardly a factor on a car selling for $80,000.

You are far better off buying the color you like rather than be stuck with one you are not crazy about just to save a couple hundred dollars on resale. There isn't even any guarantee that the higher valued color will be in vogue when you are ready to sell.

Default Just ordered 14 LS 460 F-Sport RWD

Thought I would start a new thread. The 2014 Hyundai Equus is a very nice car, just couldn't buy a Hyundai, yet.

I know Lexus's are very well made and reliable.

I ordered an Ultra White Exterior with Flaxen Interior car. Thought about the Black interior real hard, decided to try something different. Should arrive before Christmas 2013. lol

Options:
1) ALL-WEATHER PKG
2) F- SPORT COMFORT PKG
3) F-SPORT PKG
4) AUTOMATIC LED HEADLAMPS W/AFS
5) MARK LEVINSON 450-WATT SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM
6) 3-SPOKE HEATED F SPORT LEATHER STEERING WHEEL
7) BLIND SPOT MONITOR W/REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT
8) LEXUS PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM
9) PREFERRED ACCESSORY PACKAGE
-inc: cargo net, trunk mat, wheel locks, rear bumper applique
10) ALL WEATHER FLOOR MATS
11) Remote Start- Installed by dealer

I think I got everything I wanted, lol

Thanks for everyone's advice on here.

Obsidian Black

LS F-Sport Package
Mark Levinson® Reference Surround Sound Audio System
Comfort Package
All weather package
F SPORT heated steering wheel
Blind Spot Monitor
Advanced pre-collision system
LED headlamps
If available, Remote Start
Carpet Trunk mat
IF available, All season tires

What am I forgetting? Would get AWD, but I lose almost 30 hp.

Thanks

ya I didn't think Advanced PCS was available for the F Sport model but I see you changed it to regular PCS in your most recent option list. I have regular in my '04 and I would never buy another car without the technology.

Having driven both awd and 2wd, I would go 2wd as it drives better. Something about the awd platform makes it much more rough.

I ordered Advanced PCS with the F-Sport, whoever told u this is a liar, I don't know what's up with dealers, my dealer said I couldn't get it, I called Lexus customer service, Advanced PCS was available on the 13 and 14 yr model. I had my dealer order it with my 14 F-Sport

hmm...I've never seen it in any pictures even, and they usually load up the options for photoshoots. You'll have to post pics when you take delivery of it.

Get a nice window tint of about 20% all around and that will be a great looking ride. Are they changing the F Sport wheels on the LS for '14?

Plus, that white won't make you freak out about hairline scratches and people always say they can't see when walking up to my car cause it's so dang shiny. You definitely won't blend in. Ultra White is very sharp.

You are right.

I did some digging, Looks like I'm a liar. Sorry. Its only LEXUS PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM on a LS 460. You have to get a LS460L to get Advanced Pre Collision. That's some ****.

I get the front window tinted about 50% and the rest of the windows 35%. Conceals inside pretty good without drawing attention of the Po Po.
Tinting the front window cuts down on the glare, I usually don't need to wear sunglasses while driving.
