On the 405 fwy Saturday when suddenly the TPMS starts flashing and then the tire pressure drops one pound per second. I was able to get to a close gas station and call AAA, couldn't get my suit dirty. After pulling off the wheel we saw that the tire was worn down to the steal belt on the inside of the tire, not visible from the outside. Took off the other rear tire later and same thing. Just over 20000 miles on the tires but looks like a result of to much camber and riding to low.

So now the question. Those who have the continental DWS 295/25/22, how many miles are you getting? Are you lowered?

I'm looking at replacing them with Falkens because I can run 255/30/22 up front. Any feed back on the Falkens would be appreciated. Delinte D7 sounds appealing but My offset is +35 and may be to wide. Help plz

Ive owned falken fk452 and the DWS. DWS is a better tire, and supposed to last a lot longer.

The falkens because they are directional they are nosier, try the nitto 555 ive heard good things about them.

I got 18 out of a set and Im not dropped. I would say you got closer to16k. 20k and blowing out means you went a little too far

You know my vote is Delinte. I did a review of these in my build thread. I think the 255/30 and 305/25 combo is hard to beat..especially at under $600 shipped to your door. After about 2000 miles, I love these tires. Sound as quiet as my DWS 22s were. They sit flush with my 9" wide fronts and I get the benefit of the rim protection on rear 305s. I have nothing but good to say about these. I highly recommend getting a true road force balance on these. 3 of them were perfect, one was slightly slight out of round but a road force reduced that to match the other tires just fine. But then again, even $500 each tires have their share of not 100% perfect tires..even Michelin and Continental etc.

I can say with near certainty that the 255 Delinte in front will clear your inner control arm. At $92 per tire, you can afford to just get a 3mm hubcentric slide on akata spacer to help and those work great with plenty of lug nut threads still available. Ran those on my 35mm offset vossens for thousands of miles. .no issues. They are about $29 or $39 per pair iirc

Stay away from the Falken, they start off great and it goes down hill from there.

What level do you ride on with the DataSystem controller Front & Rear?

Thx for the input Tee. Initially level 3 front & 2 rear but still to much fender gap. Went to 4f 3r for a short time but finally settled on level 4 all around. Probably drove it at this level for last 3 months. Most time was spent at 3f 2r.

Leaning towards the D7 based price. For the price to replace the two rear tires, I can get a full set so its worth the try. Not sure if the 305 will fit the rear with my offset tho. What do you think.

Also, where did you cop the D7s? And thx for the input

Vittore wheel and tire on ebay or just call them. They are in Asheboro NC and free shipping..my front 255/30s were $92 each shipped..rears i got from a local wholesaler for about $175 each but Vittore has them in stock by now probably. if your rear offset is 35 to 40 you should be ok..I don't rub with 38 offset and 10.5" wide even at level 4 drop on my data controller
