Sorry for the noob question but I don't know much about the ins/outs of the 460. Just thinking of possibilities if I sell my LS430.

Its been done in japan but how much money are you willing to spend, You would probably need to buy the whole front half which includes fenders, hood, head lights, and grill. I would assume that you would go with an aftermarket front bumper instead of oem but even then will all these parts line up with the old body lines to the new body lines of the new model. Id venture to say that this would probably run somewhere $10k+ in parts, body and paint. But if you do decide to do it be sure to take a lot of pics and post it here.

If you have a japan contact, Skipper is working on a "conversion package"

save your money and trade in the 07 for a 2013 and use the 10k as a down payment.

Why do a conversion...at the end of the day, you have a conversion that looks like the current model. It's not unique...I would get a Black Pearl kit, it looks similar to the new model but it's still rare and unique. Aimgain, KBreak and a few other company make really nice kit. Just my $.02 cents...plus, it's cheaper.

I personally love the 07-09 design. It is very elegant and timeless IMO. Don't get me wrong I love the new facelift and have fallen in love with the new gadgets, driving dynamics, and overal upgrades in the 2013+ model. Here's a pic or two with my car next to the F-sport model.

I got back in my car wishing I had left with the other lol. Like mentioned, i'd just spend the extra cash upgrading to the newer model.

lol @ bluwagun...not balling, just trying to get comfortable.

In reality, I'm just brainstorming one-off ideas. LS460 is an option, importing something from Japan, facelift my LS430 next year. I'm parting out right now and taking a brief break from cars, but when I come back I want to have a gameplan of what direction the new build will take.

not sure if you guys browse the 2IS forum, but here's a 3IS front end conversion on a 2IS.

Post #2 is the process with cost of parts and labor at the end.

I would wait for aftermarket full bumpers and fenders come out. Then you just have to get oem lights, hood and trunk lid. The cost of a full kit with fenders for a 2013 is probably going to be the same as a 07-12 so why not wait. If you're serious start saving and buying the lights and hood

I would be happy if I could put the front end of my 2008 LS on a new 2013 LS.

i prefer my 07 to the 13'.. i have driven it twice now..and i'm not "in love" with it at all..yeah its newer but IMHO not much better..not a joystick fan...prefer touch screen.. (non f sport) is tooooo soft.. f sport drives better but the styling is a bit off putting, as my wife says the grille looks like a chain link fence.. if they made a compromise and did a sport(minus the f flash)version it would be a definite maybe.. also the ridge in the hood kinda looks off to me.. (and dont get me started on the rear end..) i have some body mods comin soon.. maybe a mild styling upgrade definitely not f sport flash (but as i understand it most of the f sport suspension should fit on the 07 with non air on both) hows this sound the 13 front bumper(base) and grill cues w with f sport suspension with the clean 07 lines and back end????? hmm(next stop photoshop)
