Default Rumble from rear

For several months there has been a rumble from the rear like suspension is faulty but inspection of strut and other parts showed no obvious issues. 60,000 miles one owner that needs help.
Always services at the dealer. Comments?

Did you get the tech to take a ride down the highway with you so he could hear what you are talking about?

I have the same problem...showed up about 3,000 miles ago. My 2010 LS460 has just under 49K on it. Extended warranty. Plan to have it checked out by the dealer at the 50K service.

I have 54k on mine, and my right rear strut was done by the previous owner at 45k.

I'm betting that's the problem with my '10. I'll be getting the 50K in the next 2-3 weeks and will report back to the forum what I find out.

Thanks for the feedback!

I had to replace both struts on my LS460 L with 64K miles. Luckily my extended warranty company paid for all except $100. If your warranty has a clause that says it will replace an item if it is not functioning as designed you may be able to fight for payment. Even though a strut may not be leaking, if it is making noise, it is not performing as designed.

Good luck

Pretty much all extended warranties exclude "shock absorbers". A strut is basically a shock absorber - anybody had their struts replaced under an extended warranty or CPO?
