wait so just to confirm....the 2010 grille is not 'plug and play' on the 2007 right?

correct, 2007 to 2009 use a different design to the 2010 to 2012

No, the grills are a different shape, you'd have to replace the whole front clip/headlights etc

that's disappointing the aftermarket options do not fit well... look at the wald... yuck.. or do you know something I do not?

Have you considered painting the grill black or blast-dipping it? I've seen others do that and it looks great.
