Here is mine. I used a 1/2 inch length of clear rubber tubing inserted into the **** and it now fits very snug. I really like it, a nice mod. Attachment:

Looking good Silverpaws!

I spent a total of 15 mins with mine before the accident, this little mod I'm looking forward to doing soon as I get another LS.

You should get it today if not defiantly by Monday.

It may be delayed in customs. I would email seller if it is not received by Monday, April 29, and ask for a follow-up.

Okay I'm officially an idiot. I had it shipped to my parent's address.

Anyways got it on. Very nice & cheap mod.
Regarding the tube section to firm it up, did you guys just stuff it inside the shift **** itself?
Thanks all.

Thanks all.
The tubing I used was smaller in diameter than the shift handle but I just inserted into the **** and gently turned the **** until it became snug. The tubing was firm but flexible enough to allow the **** to seat nicely. Pics now.

It's nice when it's on. The little tube makes it nice and tight.
On the fair side, this shift **** is NOT real wood. It's fake wood and the middle chrome piece is actually plastic chromed. I popped it off by accident

Anyways I rather pay for this then 5x the money for the real thing.

How do you get the **** off? Just twist it?

Grab the **** and unscrew it counterclockwise. It may take a little extra effort to get it started.

Just got mine. Took less than two weeks. Have not installed yet but like the rubber tube idea. I bet there are plenty of other ways using stuff around the garage as well.
