Exclamation Chrome Side Pillar Molding for Door Posts

Hello,

I am wondering where one can purchase the chrome (stainless steel) door side sill posts for the 2013+ LS460.

Please see picture for an understanding of what this is.

I think they actually add some tasteful class to the LS460, and don't think they look too "ghetto" on an LS460... but I would welcome your thoughts

Hello jasone36! If you're looking for the pillar posts, you can find them here: http://www.carid.com/2013-lexus-ls-chrome-accessories/ Let me know if you have questions on any particular set.

I don't know about "Ghetto", but I definitely dislike it. I prefer how the darker molding blends in. The chrome gives a visual dividing line and is a distraction.

I also think thats a tacky mod on a car as nice as the LS.

Update:

After much thoughts and research, I have decided against this.

I don't think the aftermarket "chrome" would match the LS's chrome 'loop' around the windows. Also, it seems like it would attract finger prints, and would probably fade and go bad over time as it's not OEM.

Problem solved LOL

Not to be redundant here, but it's definitely not a mod for an LS, much less any car really, but especially an LS.
Just my .02 though.

CRowe, I came to this same conclusion after research (I had initially saw that picture I posted, and it seemed good looking.... but clearly I was mistaking)

Most of the threads online about this topic led to forums about Kia, Daewoo, and Suzuki LOL

Once again RF, right in the money!
I think you got it on the head when you mentioned the fluidity the black provides.
To the OP:
Daewoo... No comment.
Suzuki, they make some nice vehicles, especially AWD makes.
Kia, though some may not agree, have some pretty nice vehicles as well, especially some of their newer models.
I was parked not too far from a newer Optima earlier this evening and took a pretty good look at it.
Not a bad looking car at all.
But of course, as you've been able to identify on your own, none of these makes are on par with the LS!

Good choice, OP.

Shine up that black (just polish and wax like you would any other paint) and enjoy the reflections.
