List price for the lug nuts are $15 each, part number 9094201111

If you went to Discount Tire you probably would have been charged at least the same $15 for each of the lug nuts as they would have had to order them from Lexus

If you bought them from Sewell Lexus with the club Lexus discount, 4 lug nuts would cost you $45.41 with shipping. So they only cost you an additional $15 for the convenience of having someone remove the lost key locks and installing new lug nuts. That was a good deal as long as they didn't charge labor to remove the old locks.

The cost is $12.00 for ALL FOUR nuts. 10 dollars for shipping. Comes to 22 dollars for the entire set of NUTS.

The $12 for set of 4 listed on the Sewell site is for a set of Chrome VALVE CAPS, not lug nuts.

The :NUT, HUB W/WASHER (PER AXLE) P/N 9094201111 item 42601C on parts list http://lexus.sewellparts.com/oem-cat...S460-2007.html are $8.73 each with the CL discount. With ground shipping 4 cost $45.41 delivered.

Look at the Sewell Parts site again http://lexus.sewellparts.com/accesso...2007/2452.html and read the description of the $12 parts that look like lug nuts. The parts listed for $12 are for a set of 4 are ALUMINUM VALVE STEM CAPS that "fit on all standard air valve stems". Looking at the picture on the Sewell site one could easily mistake them for Chrome Lug Nuts.

At least you make me feel better! Thank you for pointing that out. I'm a tech geek not a car dude!

I think you are in the wrong forum? This is the LS 460 forum.

Should just be in there under the spokes of the spare tire. Mine is just having out in the wheel well under the spokes of the spare tire. Not hard to miss especially since it's a clear plastic pouch like thing. Look around the entire wheel well.. if you can't find it there and it's not in the glovebox you might not have it.

It fits in a slot on the left side in the tray holding all the tools. It could have fallen down so look closely inside that spare tire area.

One other possibility, the last place to change the tires may have forgotten to put it back.

I always keep mine in the glove box, since the lexus dealer usually has master set they never need my key. If I go to a tire place I give them the wheel lock key with my car keys and make sure I get it back from them when I pick up. This way I always know where it is. It is important because if you get a flat and need to change your own tire you will be calling for a tow without the wheel key.

I had the dealer take my wheel locks off and replace them with normal lug nuts. I don't want to deal with them, I do most my own service. If a bad guy wants my wheels that bad, more power to 'em. But my wheels are factory wheels, so I think they're not a real big target anyway.

I think if the $15 per lug nut included the labor to remove the locks, it's not that bad. Sometimes those things are a real pain to get off.

$15 per lug nut is very fair. I can't imagine expecting anybody to do it any cheaper than that...
