does intuitive park assist on the 2008 lexus ls mean it can park by itself? i want to know because i want to buy the android device from vaistec, but they say car must have self park, is this the same as intuitive park assist?

No - intuiitive park assist is not self park. It is the radar on the bumper that tells you are close by to an obstacle.

Self Parking option can be confirmed by putting the car in reverse. If you have the little car pictures in lower left and right of backup camera as shown you have self parking. .
