My New 2013 LS F-Sport
I would like to introduce myself to the forum. I am not new to Lexus but I just bought my first LS. I loved my CT, IS-C and GS 350 F-Sport, but I fell in love with the new 2013 Lexus LS460 F-Sport. I saw her in the showroom-- Obsidian/Black and just couldn't walk out without her. Traded in my '13 GS350 F-Sport on the spot. Probably lost some in the transaction, but the car drives like a dream and when placed in sports+ mode, there is a transformation into a performance sedan. Took a couple of pictures, but it was very dark when I got home. Better description of the ride and performance later.

I had the full LCD headlights in my 2011 CT, but I just love them in the LS. First they are adaptive in nature and also have autolevel feature.
I wish they had redesigned the motor, but they did manage to get 10 more horsepower and have a sweet eight-speed transmission.

LED vs. HID
Like Tee asked, how does LED compare to HID? Do the LED headlights in the LS illuminate the road as well as HID in other cars you've driven? How does this LED compare to the LED in your 2011 CT in terms of light output? I'd appreciate it if you can compare both low and high beams. This might take you a while to find out but it'll help prospective buyers decide which type of headlight to get.

Will give you a detailed answer in several days, but after driving one night, the LED headlights illuminated better, more white than the HID LIGHTS. They are better than the ones in the Audi A8, as these are adaptie.

I dont have the new LED setup by my 600hL LED headlights are just as bright as my LS460s were on the road.. I am sure the new body LEDs are really good
Very nice car by the way!! I bet you are enjoying it!! I saw one yesterday in the dealership. I couldnt help but notice the new LS seems to have an even more conservative wheel offset stance with the wheels sucking into the massive fenders. I installed some spacers on my 600hL that dramatically changes the way the rear wheels look on the car.
