if I am not mistaken it is a sealed system (the tranny) so it should almost one of those things that needs no service... i think the fluid is lifetime and @ 100k you check it if it is fine then you should be good but I would talk to the dealer and change it @ 100k that sounds fair.

Glad to see members with a great check in at higher mileage. I have around 63k right now and drive the heck out of my car ( honestly do) , my fathers 430 has over 100k on it now and it is just like new to me! Amazing machines for sure!

Make sure the trip odometer is NOT on 'Trip A' (ie: just the normal ODO). With the ignition off, press and hold the reset button. Press the 'Start' button twice without pressing the brake, but while holding the reset button. The dash will let you know its reseting, just keep holding the button until it is done.

To lazy to type my own so I just copy and paste from "onepointon" post.
OK! Nice! Will do next time!

I just changed mine at 72k...fluid was dark. I changed the filter too. If you do a little research on WS tranny fluid, you'll see that it isn't a lifetime fluid. I think lexus was just concerned with keeping up with BMW and their no maintenance transmission - both companies try to market their vehicles as low maintenance types, but I'd highly recommend changing that fluid ASAP.

BAHAHAHA thats it? There are UCF10s with well over 400k and still running on original driveline...

BTW: I came to this dark side of the lexus forum to see what kind of miles the LS460 could handle. Was thinking about looking into once since my UCF10 is about to hit 200k and I keep beating on it.
