Thank for posting this. Now I know I am not a fan of the changes in the detail of the body. The grille looks horrible. imho it doesnt look as classy as the 2012. Almost looks like a before and after picture of a lady with light make up vs heavy make up. The 2013 looks more tarted up to me now that I see them next to each other

This side to side made me change my mind a bit. I like the new body style compared to the 460 but the Old 600 looks way better. They shouldve kept 3 projectors on for the low beams instead of 2 now.

The new 2013 LS still retains LED projector low and high beams in a 3 projector design. But new for 2013 the turn signals and the DRL are all LED and the LED lighting package is available outside the 600hL for the first time.

Actually the center part of the bumper is in "Argent" or a dark charcoal gray for all the LS line.

cool. I wasnt sure if it was the same color as the body. What do you think? Do you feel aesthetically it would look better if it was body colored or do you think it would break up the design of the grille?

@Flipside no they have a 2 projector low beam with a 3rd being the highbeam. The 600 had quad projectors with 3 for low beams and then the larger low beam on the bottom. Making it available outside the 600 only makes me depreciate my car more because why would I pay for the 600 now?

I don't understand, so for the 2013 LED projector low beams, all three of the lights light up not just the first two small bulbs?

As for the design, I0 out of 10 times I would pick the 2013 all things being equal. However, I wouldn't dump my car for one at this point and probably wouldn't do so unless they came out with an all new model.

Ohhh gotcha. I forgot about the regular halogen high beam on the inners:

Regardless, I don't think missing one LED projector is going to change the look. There may have been a loss of one more projector for the low beams, but you gain more LEDs in other locations:

thanks for the comparo. Overall the refresh looks pretty good IMO. more interested in what's in store for the next two model years. Want a powertrain upgrade. Fuel economy is pegged at the same 16/24 as the MY12. And a LS350 would be a nice entry too

actually in grey ( closer color to the color of the center of the grille) looks pretty damn good. I think they should have left it body colored
