I think he wants a new Jag XJ-L - Yikes! I was on the same boat, but after their horror stories, thanks but no thanks. You only know what you had after you part with it. I'm keeping my built-like-a-tank LS460 for a long time. It has been the most trouble-free car ever.

Twice now I had my LS in the shop and they gave me a 2012 ES350 with NAV as a loaner. It felt like I was driving my 2006 Taurus that I used as a daily driver for work a few years ago. It was tight, handled well, got good gas mileage, a/c worked well etc.. When I got back into my LS, my God, it felt SO GOOD.

The LS with NAV and Mark Levenson stereo is so comfortable. The stereo is excellent. Road noise is practically eliminated..

The only problem we have is my wife does not like to drive it to the supermarket parking lot. She said it's too nice. So we used either the Expedition or the CT200h.

When you buy a Jag or Land Rover you really have to like the dealer you go to service it, because you will be spending a lot of time there...

Had a 2003 LS 430 and it was the most wonderful car I have ever owned. Bought a 2011 LS 460Sport and have been very disappointed. Brake noise and dust, direct injection noise and just not the quality I expected. Lexus dealed advised that Lexus is no longer a quiet car. SAD!!

I own a couple of Lexus's and they are quiet to me, maybe it's the sport model and the type of tires and tuning on the car.

Cayenne turbo is maintanence nightmare. I have a LS430 and have a 012 Touareg TDI 8 speed tranny 406 lbs of torque and love it, or the Hybrid with 380HP 420 ft lbs of torgue ia a Cayenne Hybrid without the price tag. The Cayenne can be optioned to 90K to bury the Touareg if ya got the dough. The touareg is much more cookie cutter options take it or leave it. Then too my LS with 180k I love.

I thought that Lexus solved your Brembo brake noise problem with new replacement offerings from Brembo (of course after I had already gotten out of my 2010 Sport because of the brake noise). Are you stil having problems? I was thinking of getting back into a Sport next year.
