As nice as the new Ls cars are, I can't help but think they have lost an elegance when comparing them to my 99 ls400..... Maybe it is the more squarish styling I like or perhaps they don't stand out as the Lexus flagship like they use to

I think all of those ratings and reviews (JD Powers, Consumers Report etc.) are fraught with shady business.

My LS is a nice car but in no way does it approach the 1995 SC300 I had. That car was unreal in it's build quality.

i agree. the new ones just kind of look generic. but then all cars are really starting to look similar.

The LS400 is a big boring rectangle box. The 460's have a lot more style..

I have to agree. Its pretty damn quick as well. Still very impressed at how hard it pulls over 100 mph

I've owned LS cars since the original 1990. My 2009 is by far the best in all aspects, including quality and styling. I assume the 2010-2012s aren't any less good.

Yeah hands down I feel LS's just get better the newer you get. No offense to the 400s but I feel my dads ES330 is more luxurious. As time moves forward the cars will evolve and with Lexus it always seem to be for the better,
