Wow! You were raped. My 2008 LS600h L has about 26K miles on it and I got a 8yr/75K mile Platinum zero deductable for $2,055 this month. Jerry Johnson at Midwest Toyota is the best guy to get Lexus extended warranties from in my opinion.

I think the 8yr/100K mile was more like $2,900. Jumps way up from there as I recall for the 125K mile.

Anyway, back to the OP. I owned a 2007 LS460 and a year later bought a 2008 LS600h L. No regrets but the trunk is smaller than the LS460 if that is important to you. There are nice aesthetics upgrade touches from the LS460 too. You wouldn't notice until you sat in both for extended periods of time though.

....or, until you push on the gas pedal, look at the dashboard leather, feel the solidness of the ride with the additional weight, having every option possible (in most cases), the headlights tho.., the feeling of driving the 600..on and on. I dont miss my 460..put it that way

Having had my 600 for about 6 months I now notice how much nicer the 600 is than my old 460. The handling isn't as nimble as my old SWB but all of the little aesthetic upgrades are worth it and the extra power is noticeable from a roll. I also don't miss my 460 one bit and my purchase was well worth the upgrade.

I also just bought my 8yr/100k mile warranty a month ago from Jerry Johnson and couldn't be happier and well worth the price.
