Can you post some pics of your set up. I just took my sub out and it's the cone that's messed up. I might just make a baffle and add a small amp and a sub in stock location.

What size is our stock sub? How thick is it and how deep the stock location can accommodate?

If anyone comes across this thread. You can save a lot of time and money by pulling the sub out and sending it to be refurbished. Mine had to have the voice coil replaced and it only cost $95. The place I used is called A to Z subwoofer and amp repair, he's based in Cali. He has great yelp reviews also.
