Mods Help Request: Repetitive Threads
Mods, as I check the LS460 forum several times a day, I can't help but notice numerous repetitive threads asking the same questions over and over again.
Is it possible for mods to reply to the OP by saying "this has been discussed before, please use the search feature" and immediately lock the thread?
People either don't know about the search tool or are just lazy..either way, I think policing the repetition will send the message ;-)

thank you for the suggestion. first of all since this is going to be somewhat "OT" i will close this thread afterward. but do feel free to pm me or any moderators to discuss further.
if a question / thread is repetitive, it's perfectly fine to help out members by reminding them that the topics have been covered before, but we do ask members to be constructive. after all everyone is trying to be helpful here. it will be very useful to include search links to the "original" topics.
in the mean time, it can also be very useful to use the "report post" function (below screen name on the left) and let moderators know about the repetitive threads and where the topic should be merged to. that's probably a better way and we will take actions accordingly
