PTS-JoeZ Series Performance Exhaust for my LS460 :)
Hopefully I will be installing it in the next week or so and posting updates and videos.
UPDATED:
Alright since you people don't like teasers I will update this and say the rear section is a PTS Axle Back LS460 Exhaust - Joe Z Series.
It does fit the LS460L and LS600h too
It's 100% 304 Polished Stainless Steel and all hand made in SoCal..
Just like the systems they've been making for the IS350 and IS-F,
except that those are True Dual FULL systems..
I've been bugging Joe Z about getting me something for m LS and he delivered. These are not available yet, but I wanted to see if there is enough interest in these Axle Back systems and if there is, I would like to be able to help make it happen for you guys.
I wanted to do an axle back right now and see how it sounds. It keeps the factors resonators so it should keep the LS sounding like it should, but at least you'd be able to tell there is a V8 under the hood. I was told it should make it sound more like an ISF, which would be nice.
Pricing will be approx. $600-650.00
Update 2-20-2012-
The install was a breeze. I normally take my car to my friends shop and use his lift but I decided to do it at home with a set of ramps. You remove the 4 14mm bolts on the 2 exhaust flanges, spray the 6 total exhaust hangers with some WD-40 or your penetrating fluid of your choice and pull the OEM mufflers out. Put the Joe Z exhaust in the hangers and bolt up the flanges. I'd say that was the easiest exhaust replacement I have ever done. You can definitely tell there it is louder than stock but it is far from annoying. I took it out for a quick spin and it sounds great. If you want it louder I'd remove the resonators, but I would weld in an X-section in the mid-pipe so it wouldn't be raspy. I am going to keep it this way since it is exactly how I wanted it to sound.
Here is a video after install-
Make sure you are listening with a decent sounding device, you can't really hear it well with your smartphone..

My rear section exhaust arrived today for my LS460! No, it's not Megan Racing
How many of you people would be interested in a high quality rear section performance exhaust that doesn't cost JDM prices?
Hopefully I will be installing it in the next week or so and posting updates and videos.

Its going to look pretty cool, but its gonna drone. In a big *** sedan like this its going to resonate. I live in the hills so all of the uphill driving just creates resonance frequencies that drive me nuts, especially on a long uphill grade.
