WTF no Cyrillic in iPod and perhaps phone book too
Just got delivery '11 LS460 Generally pleasant with the car, but fist disappointment no Cyrillic in iPod lists. And it is for Japanese car where UNICODE has to be major feature. Never had the problem with Mercedes and BMW. Does anybody know if Lexus is going to address the problem by updating firmware. it is a big shame for Lexus. I wish I tested that before getting the car, otherwise no way.

you mean to display characters in other languages? yup, unfortunately somehow for the US spec system, it's not in unicode so everything gets decoded as garbage. my s550 displays song names in chinese just fine.
