hello all ,
I am glad joining this club , I am so close of joining LS owners as well .


I am looking for LS460 , LWB is preferred , I found one 2007 with very nice milage ( about 20k ) with touring package .

I have question , need your advice about it ,when I printed the maintinance report from lexus website , I found frequent record appeared 3 times with description (R/S NO START) .

what do you think that mean , should I worry about , or to pull the trigger and buy ?

Were they right after one another. Sound like something was going on but I dont think I would worry about it. These cars are usually well maintained and driven mildly. Most LS owners are older and more affluent. They service the cars as needed and they dont do any track days in them LOL. Think of it as the total opposite of buying a car like the EVOX

Oh Yeah. ...... I8ABMR's advice is SPOT ON. The only question I would as ask if it's a private seller is "Why are you selling ?" and then gauge his/her answer. If it's a dealer, there are ways to take a looksee at their reputation.

Yeah, for peace of mind, I would want to know the details of the "NO START" entry.

Ask them if "No start" on this model car normally indicates a defective Crank Trigger Sensor.

Just a thought.

PS - And do not hesitate to call a different dealer - maybe even in a different state - and ask a service advisor there what he might have experienced in regards toward this problem.

I will add that even though you would expect LS owners to pay for maintenance and care for their cars, I was astonished at the number of LS460s I saw (back when I was looking) that looked like dogs had been living in them, not to mention dings, scratches, etc. Many of these had already been through the CPO process! (one of many reasons I'm not a huge believer in CPO)

Even people with money can be real slobs with their cars... I wanted to cry sometimes from witnessing such disrespect toward an LS
