Default $500 Lexus Visa Card Expiring: How did you ended up using it?

My $500 Lexus visa card is expiring on 12/11 and my LS don't need anything at this time.

What would be the best way to use this $?

i bought parts for service at Sewells web site. I got unique items like AC reconditioners to clean out the odors and freshen up the AC, along with Filters, and a few tools and of course a couple of Lexus Coffee mugs :-) which are the best I have ever owned.. kind of like the car!

How about using it to pre-pay for services such as oil changes, or scheduled maintenance (although the rates on the latter are greatly over priced).

I used mine to update my Nav from 6.1 to 10.1 (2011) and the rest was general maintenance.

Tee, have you noticed a worthwhile difference in the Nav update? My LS is a 2008 but I am not sure which Nav version it has. Do you now have the same screen as a 2011 LS?

Is the update even worth it? I use my phone now for NAV when needed.

The update works a lot better b/c it has updated maps, POI's & streets etc, I notice that when i went back up to DE from Atlanta back in July. The number one reason I did it is to get rid of the lawyer screen, I hated having to push 'I Agree' every dayum time I got in the car! (Very happy now) I did not want to pay for a new update but when the GC deal came along it was like Lexus paying for it not me.

I would keep using your phone, if you don't travel much or it is working fine for your needs. I prefer to use the Nav in the car vs my phone of course this is subjective, however in a few yrs I will be forced to use my phone b/c the Nav will be outdated again.

Here is a trick I learned when using the the OEM Nav, I found that if you put the street name in first then the street number it works better. I have no idea why it just seems to have less issues when looking for addresses.

I would if it has been a long time, it can't hurt to see what the hold up is. It took mine two months & some change to show up.

Found this Lexus Coat Hanger , anyone can comment on it and knows where to find it online in stock? Seems that the exact same one cost $150 from l-tunedparts.com

More pics/info from this thread
