Default compatible bluetooth cell phones

I have a 2007 LS460L Executive and am about to upgrade my phone. Current one doesn't stay paired. Looking at a Motorola Droid Bionic. Lexus doesn't post compatible phones on their webite any longer. Dealer doesn't have current list of compatible phones. Lexus HQ hasn't sent an email with the lastest list. The question is: How do I find what Verizon phones are fully compatible, particularly with downloading the phonebook? Even if i get a Bionic and it's not fully compatible, I can return within 30 days...I just don't want the hassle of constantly changing phones to find one that works. I thought about the iphone but not seriously.

Update: Called Lexus CS yesterday. They emailed a list of compatible phones with the caveat that not all phones listed are fully compatible. Claim they are updating the list and will have them posted on the web "soon." The Iphone 4 was at the top of the list. Anyone out there with an Iphone 4 wish to share their experience?

as soon as you set it up the iphone 4 will always connect with the car and when you get a call it goes seemlessly to the bluetooth in the car; I love it.

You may need the dealer to have their Phone person set it up for you. My local dealer set up my appointment and I needed to upload my contacts to a website, in a simple excel file upon arriving they used a cheapo cell to actually push them into the car and then connected the IPhone 4. I can now only manually update my contacts... which is not that big of a deal, but its not seamless, works well though for calls. I have a 2007.
