Hey guys, new here.

Just want to give a little info on my speaker install.
One thing that is a plus, is that with the window rolled down, the glass is not in the way. The speakers are Focal K2 6.5 Mid. They go for a little over 300 frog skins each.
As of the moment, this is my set up, but I have some other things on order.

Stock Head Unit
JBL-MS8
JL Audio HD-600/4
Focal 100 KRS 4" components
Focal K2 6.5

I have two Digital Designs Audio dd2510 on order and I should get them sometime this week. The reason why I pick the ddaudio over the JL10w6, was that if I blow the voice coil, I can recone it and have it custom. They also put out more spl and also have good Sound Q. I'll post pics when I get them in. One last thing is that, the woofers will be powered by one PPI Powerclass 21400 amp. I have it laying around for a while so hope it still works. Maybe paint it to match the exterior paint.

Nice - I have been slowly collecting components to upgrade the premium stereo. I see most upgrades go with Focal's, has anyone used Boston Acoustic's?

Man..like BUSA said, keeping up with this thread. Wish I was closer so I could hear it when you're finished with the install. Does anyone use Rainbow Audio anymore? I bought a pair a while ago with the ipaul amp to push them, but never had them installed. Great pix, by the way!

Nice thread, im a bit of an audiophile. I love the sound of the LS if you can improve on it im in. I have the MS8 in my SC and I love it.. I wanted to redo my system in my LS but everyones view was pretty much "why mess with perfection" I feel it can be improved with adding better quality components and more power.

OP - is your LS Mark Levinson equipped?

I had the MS8 monitor mounted in the sun glass storage area, above. None of my sunglasses will fit anyways. The speakers are focal 4" shallow mounted model.

system sounds good, but still playing around with the settings. I'll see if I can post something on Youtube, to get a little demo.
