thanks, yeah that was my goal. My stock 18s were pretty chewed up from previous owner and I wanted to get a nice new wheel that was bigger and had an OEM look and of course fit like OEM. I was concerned about the whole fender gap thing, but after getting these put on, I really don't see a major issue with that at all. Those pics were taken right after it was on the lift. After driving it a few miles, the car is settled again and looking real nice. I'll get some more pics up soon.

congrats buddy. I just put a set of wheels on my LS460 so I know it is exciting. I think the car looks great and with 20's at least you will not get as much road vibrstion

Man those 20's actually do look pretty solid. The brand you went with is awesome because they offer hubcentric fits for the wheels. I just wish they made a 22" wheel. The 20s will give you less vibration that 22's and you wont get as much loos in hp to the wheels with 20s as you will with 22's

Tammer....Your 3GS (which was one of my favorite 3GS's on CL) had TSW Snettertons. You've always backed TSW. That's one thing I always noticed about your wheel posts. Your LS is in a totally different league now my friend. Keep up the good work.

thanks guys, just got a chance to drive home down 285 here in ATL between 65-80mph...they are a little louder than the 18's (as expected) but very reasonable for a 40 series. The only issue I got is one of the oem center caps must have some warped clips because it's loose in the wheel, but I can find a new cap cheap. Can't really tell it's loose unless you touch it so i'll worry about it if it falls out. After some strong dips on 285, the wheels are sitting very nice in the wells..very pleased..thanks again for the comments. I know everyone says this, but it looks way better in person than my palm pre camera pics..

Tires that thick shouldn't be loud at all.
Which tires did you get?

PS
Okay, I see that you got the DWS. I don't feel they are loud compared to stockers.
If it's really important to you the most quiet tire I've evern owned was the Bridgestone RE960 AS. Better than stock quietness.
