Heard they might offer an F-Sport, not sure if that's for this generation or next. Presumably next.

Well the current"Sport" is kind of a like a F-sport without the F-sport or any sport badges....IS F BBK, suspension, interior, wheels, kit changes..

btw, I noticed the 2012 LS 600h L has a new version of a LSD? Did it always have a LSD or is this a first?

I'm sorry that the LS will not be changed until the model year 2014, if that is correct. I've looked at the 2013 GS due out in February. It's too small compared to the LS, and will not have a V8. I had looked at the Hyundai Equus and it looked great. My only reservation was the length. The wheelbase is 120"+. Now I'm looking at the 2012 Infiniti M56. It has a shorter wheelbase 114"+ which is fine with me. The V8, with all the "bells and whistles" retails for about $72,000. Where is Lexus when I need it?

just found this:

The AWD system employs a compact, ultra-quiet transfer case equipped with a TORSEN® limited-slip differential (LSD) that is 30 percent lighter in size and weight than previous TORSEN systems.
(it had it before, this is new improved version)

You might want to read this before you pull the trigger on that Equus -
